Prepare all the ingredients before cooking.

Preheat oven to Bake at 350°F

Mix white sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter together.

Add salt, mashed ripened bananas, and egg to butter mixture (step 2).

Mix baking soda, baking powder, and flour together.

Add dry ingredient mixture from (step 4) to butter mixture (step 2).

Grease a loaf pan and pour banana bread mixture in.

Bake 1 hour at 350°F and cover with foil for final 30 minutes.

Test for finish by inserting knife and removing cleanly. May take a few more minutes depending on the oven.
